The Phoenix plays a full notch faster than the Yeti on the carpet side, with still maintaining the same slick side for those hard pushes and easy go through throws. The carpet side plays very true with very little kick with slides/pushes but you can still get it cut/flop/roll. Carpet speed stays pretty much the same in all conditions.
